The aim of project governance is to manage the risk of the organisation's investment against the opportunities and benefits that the outcomes that project will provide to the business. Once the necessary management commitment and funding has been obtained there will be a heightened awareness of the project throughout the organisation. Different stakeholders demands will appear, change and increase as the opportunities on offer become clearer.
